One of the best stories based on real events is "The Golden Lady", a film directed by Simon Curtis in 2015, in which the story of María Altmann, a woman of Jewish origin and survivor of Nazi persecution prior to World War II, is told. . In the feature film, an elderly Austrian woman against all odds faces her past, the modern world and the Austrian nation to recover not only her past and her dignity, but also her family.
