Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor it is submitted to another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in "Comments to the Editor").
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Use the Arial font, size 12, 1.5 spacing, letter size sheet, 2.5 cm margins in all sides; footnotes in Arial, size 10. Direct citations greater than 40 words, are in size 11. Title in Arial size 14; Abstract and keywords in Arial size 10; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the appropriate locations in the text, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

To those interested in submitting their articles, we invite you to read the following instructions:

The authors will send their articles according to the terms of reference expressed here, otherwise, the article will be returned for the corresponding adjustments; Likewise, they will send a certificate stating that the text is their authorship, that it has not been sent to another journal simultaneously and that it is unpublished -except for texts that have been published in other languages ​​(in this case, you should refer to the initial publication).

The time elapsed between the submission of the article and the response of the peers may not exceed four months. Once the article has been approved for publication, autjors must send a form that will be forwrsded through the address of the journal to assign property rights; There they will authorize the reproduction of the article, its distribution, commercialization and dissemination by any means, printed or electronic, including the internet. The article must have in its structure the followings:

Title, subtitle if any, keywords (3-5) and abstract, all in Spanish and English.

Footer to the title in which it is indicated: 1) type of article, 2) title of the research project from which it is derived; 3) research group and line; 4) name of the principal investigator and co-investigators; 5) institutions that financed the project; and 6) date of completion of the investigation.

Names and surnames of the author or authors. In footnote: 1) institutional affiliation; 2) academic training; 3) group and line of research to which the author belongs; 4) email address.

Summary of the article of maximum 200 words. It contains a brief description of the problem or topic, its relevance, objectives, theoretical and methodological perspective. It must be presented in Spanish and English.

Keywords. Minimum 3, maximum 5. Present them in Spanish and English.

Introduction. In it, the problem or topic studied and its relevance are expanded; the objectives, theoretical and methodological perspective used, the discussion or some research results are stated and the structure of the article is presented.

Development of the article. It will fit the type of item.

Results, discussions, conclusions, findings, recommendations, this according to the type of article.

References.

The presentation of the article must conform to the following formal aspects:

 

Use only the Continental Citation System with footnote citations.

The length of the article is a maximum of 30 pages including bibliography.

Use the Arial font, size 12; 1.5 spacing; letter size sheet, 2.5 cm margins; footnotes in Arial, size 10; direct citations greater than 40 words in size 11; title in Arial size 14; summary and keywords in Arial size 10, single spacing; bibliography size 10.
