This article analyzes the legal and democratic feasibility of granting citizenship rights, including the right to vote, to legal entities. Using a dogmatic-analytical methodological approach, it examines the main sources of law—constitutional, legislative, doctrinal, jurisprudential, and international—in order to contrast traditional arguments against this possibility with contemporary positions that defend it from an evolutionary conception of democracy. The study concludes that, while the current constitutional framework excludes legal entities from the sphere of political citizenship, there are theoretical foundations that allow for framing the debate as a possible constitutional reform, albeit one that poses a significant risk to the principle of democratic equality.
